Men’s Texas Scramble Open Monday 4th May
Many thanks to all the teams that entered the scramble which was played in near perfect conditions. Thanks also to the green-keepers and the kitchen staff who helped to make the day a success. Prizes will be available to spend in the Pro Shop from next week.
The Winning team was
Derek Collinson. Mark Cook, Wayne Mundy and Craig Longstaff with a net 56 playing off a handicap of 6. They win £100 each
2nd place
Lewis Donohue, Richard Reed, Carl Twin and Paul Maughan with 56.7 off a 4.3 handicap and winning £75 each
3rd place
John Allison, Graeme Rodgerson, Ian Kelly and Steve McLean with 57 off a 9 handicap winning £50 each
4th place
Michael Newham. Lee Dilworth, Russell Askar and Ian Robertson 57.1 off a 7.9 handicap winning £35 each
5th place
Darren Lamb. Michael Grayson, Martin Lamb and Gareth Berry 57.2 off a 6.8 handicap winning £25 each
There were a few teams who failed to meet the qualifying conditions of having to have all their members to have 6 scores recorded in the last 12 months including at least 3 competition scores including the top 2 teams which was very unfortunate to see. I hope they all enjoyed the golf regardless.

“ Thank you to all who entered our 4BBB Ladies Open on the 4th of September. The windy conditions made it extra challenging, but despite that there were some good scores. We hope you enjoyed the test and our hospitality at half way house – all proceeds are going to MacMillan Cancer Support.
